May 2012 Papertrey Blog Hop!

May 2012 Papertrey Blog Hop!

This months inspiration is a unique color scheme that has been popping up everywhere this spring. A bright green (Simply Chartreuse or New Leaf) paired with bold black & white patterns.

For my card, I have stamped a plaid design from WaltzingMouseStamps
over the bottom 1/2 of the white cardstock.  I have punched out 2 butterflies
from a green dp from Echo Park.  The sentiment, "Celebrate" is from
 Technique Tuesday, Kids are Kool.
I used a Fiskars punch along the bottom of the card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,

Make It Monday #67: Step-it-Up: Mixing Patterned Papers

Make It Monday #67: Step-it-Up: Mixing Patterned Papers

Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and combine three or more patterned papers.

In this Graduation card, I have combined dp from October Afternoon's Sasparilla line.  I love the rustic, feeling with these colors and patterns.

Thanks for stopping by to have a look!

Papertrey Ink

Hello all,
I love this challenge...as I love using buttons on most cards and making them glitter is even
better!  These buttons don't show up very good in this pic, but they are glittered with Stardust
Stickles.  For the card, I wanted to use up some of this great Crate Paper Farmhouse Paper, on top
of a Kraft card base. I love all the wonderful, rich, earthy colors.  The sentiment I chose is from Iconic Images.  Hope you enjoy!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

January 25, 2011

Today, the Papertrey Ink site is having a Blog Hop challenge...

Welcome everyone to the January Papertrey Blog Hop! We are so thrilled to see you here! First, the challenge...
The-Challenge
This month, in honor of the New Year, we are challenging you to pick your favorite project from 2011 and share it with all of us. To take it a step further, you are challenged to create a second card that is inspired by the favorite project you select. Your new version of an old favorite could carry over the color scheme, the layout or the stamp sets. We look forward to seeing your best creations from 2011, as well as your first projects from 2012!

One of my favorite cards from 2011 is this Congrats card. I used some fabulous Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends dp for this card, added Congrats sentiments from Congrats All Ways. Some ribbon and heart button finish this up.
For the second card, I thought I would go keep the similar background paper--flowered print and I chose some from Echo Park--Country Drive. I added some ribbon with banner edges in a pink shade and popped up a fussy cut pale green butterfly. The sentiment - Hi there little one is from Mega Mixed Messages. Love that stamp set!    Hope you like them!
